The Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association (FEMA) will be hosting its 104th annual convention in Palm Beach, FL on May 5-8 with the theme: "The New Normal: Transparency & Collaboration" as well as a new, first-of-its-kind executive leadership forum.
In light of the recent consumer transparency initiatives, convention attendees at the event to be held at Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach will hear from speakers who will share their own experiences and insight into how those who provide goods and services destined for consumers across the country can best position themselves for success in this new transparent and collaborative atmosphere.
In addition, the convention is launching a new event on Wednesday, May 8, for a first-of-its-kind executive leadership forum. It will feature six leaders from the leading global flavor companies, all of whom will be prepared to discuss their thoughts on what "transparency" and "collaboration" mean to the industry.
And don't forget to pack your running running shoes. On Monday, May 6, FEMA will host the Flavor Dash, FEMA's first 5K Fun Run/Walk. Sponsorship proceeds for the Flavor Dash will go to Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, a Lake Worth, FL-based non-profit whose mission is to prepare and send care packages to troops deployed overseas so they know they are not forgotten.
