On June 10, Emmanuelle Moeglin, global fragrance analyst, Mintel, will provide a presentation and join a panel discussion focused on growth opportunities in fragrance. The abstract of Moeglin's talk notes:
- Innovation and technology can be tricky to integrate in the fragrance area where emotion and sensory experience are prioritized.
- Trending up from the larger beauty field, blurred lines between categories are becoming increasingly common, with overlaps between skincare, hair care and color cosmetics. Moreover, technological innovation is transforming the way consumers interact with beauty brands, changing the way products are marketed, sold and proven for efficacy.
- There are growth opportunities and ways to innovate in fragrance developing new formats, perfumes with added benefit and using technology to enhance consumer’s experience with scents.
