In an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus, Symrise AG has postponed the Annual General Meeting 2020, as well as the payment of its proposed dividend of €95 cents per share.

Symrise AG is postponing the Annual General Meeting that was originally scheduled for May 6, 2020 in Holzminden. This was decided by the board of management and the supervisory board.

Against the background of the worldwide spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and based on a careful assessment of all aspects, in particular the health of all participants, Symrise AG has decided to postpone the event.

The health of shareholders, employees, as well as the service providers and guests, is a top priority for the company. By refraining from holding major events, Symrise would like to make an active contribution to curbing the spread of the virus. In doing so, Symrise also complies with the decrees issued by the Ministry of Health of Lower Saxony on March 16 and March 17, 2020.

Due to the cancellation of the original date of the Annual General Meeting, among other things, the resolution on the appropriation of the net profit for 2019 and the payment of the proposed dividend of €95 cents per share will be postponed.

Depending on the further course of the wave of infection and the measures ordered by the responsible authorities, Symrise AG will inform its shareholders and the public in a timely manner about the further planning. The new date will be announced in due course. The company's goal is to reschedule the event at the earliest possible time.
