The acquisition includes Chemarome Brasil’s factory and offices near the city of Curitiba, located in the south of the country, where it will operate as CPL Aromas do Brasil.

The family-owned business, which claims to be one of the largest fragrance-only fragrance houses, said it chose Brazil based on the population's appetite for beauty products.

The acquisition of Chemarome Brasil means the perfume manufacturer now has 19 offices, six manufacturing plants and a team of more than 700 employees worldwide.

Nick Pickthall, CEO of CPL Aromas, said, “Brazil’s 200 million consumers are notorious for their love of fragranced products. Having a local team and operation will be key to our success in this market.”

Pickthall added, “We are very happy to welcome the Chemarome Brasil team into the CPL Aromas family. We look forward to working with them in the coming years, learning as we grow together.”
