Firmenich Expands its Taste Innovation Unit in Asia

Firmenich, as part of its first step to expand its taste innovation unit in Asia, has relocated one of its key executives in taste modulation to Shanghai amid strong demand for healthy ingredients in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia.

Imad Farhat, vice president of breakthrough cost innovation for flavors, who previously led global business development for taste modulation in Princeton, has relocated to Shanghai. While in China, he will work closely with the technical and commercial teams across Asia Pacific.
