The United Kingdom chapter of the Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) will hold its event “Symposium, an Opportunity to learn, Contribute and Network” on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 12:30 pm&ndash5:00 pm at the Tiffany Room of the Tavistock Hotel, Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9EU. The symposium will present a diverse list of educational topics. Carole Bingley, technical specialist at Reading Scientific Services, will discuss new developments in high potency sweeteners; Joseph Tomusange, REACH coordinator at RC Treatt, will give an overview on the challenges with REACH and CLP; and Hugo Bovill, managing director of RC Treatt, will share his experiences traveling overland from the UK to South Africa.
Additionally, the WFFC launched a promotional video to educate members and prospective members. The video highlights WFFC’s industry events and offers information on the organization’s Cincinnati and UK chapters, as well as its New Jersey headquarters, with each chapter having its own calendar of events in each region.
