Food Safety Lobby Day: Nov 14

The Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association, Grocery Manufacturers Association and other interested parties will take part in a food safety lobby day on Capitol Hill on November 14. The event, in part a response to the proposed Food and Drug Import Safety Act being supported by Representative John Dingell (D - MI), will include meetings with legislators, and a lunch briefing with staff of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
