FEMA Opens Flavor Labeling Workshop to Non-members

Registration has opened for non-FEMA (Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association) members for the association’s upcoming U.S. Flavor Labeling: From Concept to Consumer meeting, happening Tuesday, October 4 at the Hilton Newark Airport in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

The workshop meeting, which is being put on by the FEMA Flavor Labeling Committee and the University of FEMA, will present an in-depth perspective on flavor labeling issues, as well as a baseline understanding of U.S. flavor labeling regulations. The role of flavor labeling on consumer products meant for grocery store shelves will also be discussed, and the topics will be led by industry leaders, working via a presentation and then interactive case studies.

The fee for the workshop is $495 for FEMA members and $695 for non-members, and that includes all course materials, as well as a continental breakfast and lunch.
