On December 10, 2024, ingredient manufacturer MycoTechnology announced the appointment of Jordi Ferre as its new chief executive officer, effective January 2, 2025. Interim CEO Ranjan Patnaik will continue to serve as the company’s chief technology officer.
Ferre currently serves as the head of the global food division at HealthTech Bioactives, a global ingredients specialist. Prior to this role, he served as the chief executive officer of AgroFresh and chief operating officer of PureCircle. He has over 30 years of experience in the ingredient industry, specifically with value-added ingredients.
“With his extensive commercial experience in natural, value-added ingredients, Jordi is well-suited to lead MycoTechnology through continued growth, including the development and launch of new, naturally derived sugar reduction solutions,” said Rob Case, chairman of the MycoTechnology board of directors. “We’re thrilled to welcome him aboard and believe that he will be a transformative leader to support to company’s progress, culture, mission, and values.”
