Lionel Hitchen (Essential Oils) Ltd. (Hampshire, UK) has announced its expansion into the United States, with the formation of Lionel Hitchen USA Ltd. in Sarasota, FL. Previously the company relied on Thwaites Inc. to distribute its products in the United States. Lionel Hitchen USA Ltd. will begin operations in April with Suzy Nolan as the director of sales and marketing responsible for daily operations.
Of the move, LHEO joint managing director Alastair Hitchen said, “We are certain that Lionel Hitchen USA Ltd. will be well placed to offer an excellent service to clients throughout the United States with our wide range of products. Most of all, we would like to thank all our customers who have supported LHEO over the years through Thwaites Inc. and we look forward to continuing to serve their needs from our new office in the United States.”
In related news, David Thwaites, president of Thwaites Inc., has decided to retire. In addition, Dianne Hustus, formerly of Thwaites Inc., has joined Lionel Hitchen USA Ltd. as account manager.
