The Society of Flavor Chemists (SFC) will hold its 2009 symposium, "Back to Basics: An Educational Seminar for the Dynamic Flavor Professional," October 8–9, 2009 at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village in Princeton, New Jersey.
The event will feature several industry experts tackling a number of topics, including raw material selection and use, flavor compounding, and flavor reactions, as well as analytical, sensory and regulatory aspects of flavor creation. The symposium, open to all interested parties, is aimed a flavor chemists and technicians and supporting staff such as beverage technologists and quality scientists.
