The 2009 Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association’s fall symposium focused on product innovation in the new economy, examining the rise of private label brands, the growing number of services customers require from flavor houses, the growing importance of developing markets to spur growth, and more. Monell Center director Gary Beauchamp received the organization’s annual science award. The event also featured committee meetings and cocktail receptions.
