NAFFS 89th Annual Convention

The National Association of Flavors and Food-Ingredient Systems (NAFFS) will explore the flavors and ingredients used in a variety of market segments at its 89th Annual Convention. To be held at The Resort at Longboat Key Club, Longboat Key, FL on October 12-15, the program kicks off with presentations by Ted Bateh and Andy del Rosal (both from Bacardi) and John Houseman (Yuengling Brewing Co.) on the latest flavor trends in the alcoholic beverage market. Jim Sornson (Swisher International) will talk about shifts in trends in the tobacco product market and the latest flavors and ingredients used in this unique market. Patrick McNamara (Scarinci & Hollenbeck) will discuss the latest developments on legal and regulatory issues impacting the industry. In addition, Tom Wright (Turkey Hill) will explore how ice cream products are being reformulated to adapt to healthier consumer trends, what’s next in ice cream flavors and how Turkey Hill built its brand.
