Berjé’s buchu oil is intensely pungent and sulfuric, with green and leafy notes that can be overbearing when smelled neat. However, when used in small doses, buchu makes an excellent modifier for cassis, raspberry, grapefruit, and mango profiles. In fragrance, buchu oil works well in colognes and chypre bases.
