Trilogy Essential Ingredients, Inc. announced an asset acquisition of the flavor division of Medallion International Corporation.
Founded in 1976, by Michael and Amy Boudjouk, Medallion has supplied flavors, fragrances and essential oils to a global customer base.
According to a release, the Boudjouk and Pisano families have known each other for a long time.
The press release reads, "As such, this is a transaction between multigenerational friends. Both families have brought a lively spirit and passion to the management of their businesses and that will continue."
Paula Boudjouk, Medallion’s president, will retain significant management responsibilities and focus on key accounts.
