Bedoukian Research, Inc. (BRI) and P2 Science, Inc. have announced the signing of a joint development agreement (JDA) that builds on each company’s expertise in developing efficient routes to synthesize insect pheromones.
P2 Science, Inc. has developed a suite of patented green chemistry process technologies that convert renewable feedstocks into high-value specialty chemicals. BRI specializes in the supply of high-quality insect pheromones as well as flavors and fragrances.
Under the terms of the JDA, the companies will bring these and other strengths together with the aim of developing business opportunities in the growing pheromone market utilizing plant-based, renewable chemicals.
