Bell Flavors & Fragrances (Northbrook, Illinois) has obtained recertification of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) 7.2 Level 3 for its manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters.
Bell maintained an “Excellent” status for the fourth year in a row continuing to meet standards and more stringent scoring system. The recertification also confirmed that employees were well trained, retained information, and communicated well during employee interviews, which was a significant component of the audit.
In August 2014, Bell's facility in Guadalajara, Mexico obtained SQF Level 3 Certification and is currently the first and only flavor company in Mexico to earn this certification.
