Citronellol (FEMA# 2309, CAS# 106-22-9) is a naturally occurring compound extensively used in fragrance and flavor applications. It has rosy, floral characteristics indispensable for fresh floral fragrances, and can also be used to give a unique accent to fruity flavors. It is EU and U.S. natural.
