Fragolane (FEMA# 4294, CAS# 6290-17-1) comes with sweet anisic and fennel notes and a deep fruity character. It contributes body and sweetness to nearly all fruit flavors. It underlines herbal and spicy notes. It works in meat and onion flavors, like plant-based food products, adding juiciness. Besides strawberry, it finds use in perfumery.
