Wine flavor chemistry will be discussed at the Thursday, January 17th, 2018 meeting of the Society of Flavor Chemists, starting at noon. Location is the DoubleTree Suits, 2085 South Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim, California. Dr. Susan Eberle of the University of California-Davis will present on “Wine flavor chemistry – the basics.” She is followed by David Raffaele, Master Winemaker of Maurice Carrie Winery, on “Red berries and clove spice, with a hint of asparagus – unravelling the complexity of wine aromas. An optional wine tasting will conclude the meeting at the Pali Wine Company. Register by January 11th, 2019.
