While the company officially began in 1893, its birth was actually much earlier. William P. Ungerer, having spent over 20 training as a perfumer in France, planted the seed from which Ungerer & Company would flourish. Since inception, Ungerer & Company remains dedicated to the production and processing of essential oils, oleoresins and aroma chemicals. Ungerer & Company realizes there is a place for shorter term products and products that endure.
