"Fragrance at War" 8th of October 2015, Imperial War Museum, Manchester, 6-9pm Nora Pickston and Bob Stewart met at a dance hall. A whirlwind romance led to them getting a special licence to be married on 31 May 1943 at Saint John’s Church, Altrincham, Cheshire. Nora's wedding dress is one of the many fascinating items featured at an interactive presentation and smelling session to be held at the Imperial War Museum, Manchester hosted by the British Society of Perfumers. Members, Friends of the Society and non-members are all welcome.
