Firmenich appoints Jerry Vittoria as the head of fine fragrance worldwide to further advance the company. Vittoria will take over for Olivier de Lisle, who is retiring effective immediately. Vittoria and de Lisle worked closely while Vittoria was president of fine fragrance North America to ensure a smooth transition.

Since 2013, de Lisle served as the head of fine fragrance, where he oversaw the company's organic growth for the past two years. He began his career with Firmenich's perfumery division in 2010 and served as the head of perfumery supply chain from 2011-13.

Vittoria joined Firmenich in London in 1990 as an account director and eventually became the general manager of fragrances in the U.K. In 2001, Vittoria became the president of fine fragrances North America in 2010, based in New York City.

"Building on Jerry's strategic vision, umatched passion for fine fragrance, and our customers, I look forward to working with him to take our legacy in fine fragrance into its next era of excellence. On behalf of the Firmenich executive committee and perfumery team, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Olivier de Lisle for his contributions over the past seven years," said Armand de Villoutreys, president perfumery, Firmenich.
