IFF Perfumer Promotions

International Flavors & Fragrances (New York) has promoted Loc Dong, Pascal Gaurin and Laurent Le Guernec to senior perfumer. Dong has been with the company since 2002 and has 10 years of experience in the industry. His creations at IFF include Calvin Klein Euphoria, which was awarded the FiFi for Women’s Fragrance of the Year 2006. Other fragrances include Euphoria for Men, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein CK IN2U, DKNY Delicious Night, Michael Kors Island, Elizabeth Arden Provocative, M by Mariah Carey and Versace.

Gaurin joined IFF Hong Kong in 1995 as perfumer trainee, transferring to the United States in 1997. He was promoted to perfumer in 2002, and his portfolio includes fragrances such as FiFi Award-winning Elizabeth Arden Arden Beauty, Vera Wang Men, Calvin Klein Eternity Summer, Estée Lauder Beautiful Love and Tom Ford Black Violet, as well as successes with Unilever Axe brand, Estée Lauder and Liz Claiborne.

Le Guernec has been part of the IFF team since February 2002, when he joined the New York creative center as a perfumer, concentrating on fine fragrances. Three of Le Guernec’s creations prior to his arrival at IFF, including Michael by Michael Kors, received FiFi awards. His work, in collaboration with other perfumers, has included Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely, Bill Blass for Women and Lacoste Touch of Spring, as well as fragrances for Avon, Estée Lauder, Liz Claiborne, Perry Ellis, Marc Jacobs and MAC.
