Perfumer Jean Claude Delville has joined drom Fragrances’ creative team in New York City. He will work out of the company’s revamped Tribeca studio on the development of fragrances for a variety of applications, with a focus on fine fragrance and personal care.

Delville has created a wide range of successful fragrances for major beauty marketers around the world and was previously with Firmenich, IFF and Symrise. Of the appointment Ferdinand Storp, general manager, drom, said, “We are extremely excited to have Jean Claude on board … [His] extraordinary skills and expertise make him one of the world’s best perfumers, and a great addition to our team of perfume fanatics.” “Jean Claude is a great fit for drom, he embodies our signature approach to perfumery, an approach of unlimited creativity, openness and flexibility, of breaking down existing structures and doing whatever it takes to move our industry forward. We have big plans,” added Andy O’Shea, vice president of drom’s US operation.
