Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) has named Daniel Salvito vice president, environmental studies. Salvito is responsible for the environmental sciences program at RIFM, encompassing aquatic and terrestrial testing, biodegradation and bioaccumulation studies, and risk assessments of priority fragrance materials. He is a member of the American Chemical Society, SETAC, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
