Former IFF perfumer Josephine Catapano has died; she was 93.

Catapano has been credited with creating Estee Lauder's Youth Dew. Norell's Norell and Shiseido's Zen. She received the Cosmetic Career Women's Award in 1980 and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Perfumers in 1993.
