The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials’ (RIFM) current president Ladd W. Smith has announced his retirement. RIFM board of directors chair Sean G. Traynor issued a statement thanking Smith for his service to RIFM and the industry, commenting, “RIFM has experienced significant evolution during his tenure.”
Traynor also announced that while the board seeks Smith’s successor, Smith will remain in the position and assist in the replacement process.
