FONA International Inc. announced three new hires, filling positions on its grains, beverage and emerging market teams. Jennifer Fitzgerald joins the company as an applications technologist in the grains division. Her background includes time in the food and drink ingredient industry, with experience in product development. In her previous role, she worked with customers to develop ingredients for products that met their needs and their consumers' demands. Tim Michelotti has joined FONA as a food scientist in the beverage division. He has 10 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, doing product development for powders, bars and RTDs, as well as research projects and pilot testing new equipment. And Shannon Wilson joins as a senior applications technologist in the emerging division, utilizing her years of experience in the food industry contributing to the development and commercialization of several bakery and dairy products in her new work developing custom flavor needs in applications such as OTC, pharmaceutical and flavor enhancers.
