Ajinomoto Food Ingredients LLC has opened an application center in its North American headquarters in Chicago, focusing on activities to support healthier foods and beverages. The new facility, which includes an analytical laboratory with state-of-the-art HPLC, will focus on expansion of technology applications in the areas of salt reduction, sugar replacement, textural improvement and incorporation of functional ingredients.
