Dansico (Copenhagen, Denmark) has announced sales for the third quarter 2005 (ending January 31, 2006) of DKK 15.6 billion, an increase of 20 percent from the same period 2004. Operating profit before special items (EBIT) rose 7 percent to DKK 1.7 billion. Gross profit rose 25 percent to DKK 5.2 billion year-to-date. Ingredients, including Genencor, reported sales of DKK 9.9 billion year-to-date, with 5 percent organic growth, 4 percent currency translation and 26 percent from acquisition — Genencor and RFI.
