The North America aroma molecules team from Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) recently bestowed Vigon International (East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania) with its "The Best In Class" recognition to honor the companies’ continuing partnership. Symrise and Vigon have utilized this partnership since 2004, in which a number of Symrise's aroma molecule business customers are serviced by Vigon, particularly those with specific packaging requirements and quick turnaround times, including in Symrise’s specialty fragrance and flavor ingredients unit, fine aroma chemicals unit, and for its menthol and thymol products.
To commemorate this recognition, a presentation and luncheon was provided by Symrise for Vigon employees on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Vigon's headquarters. In addition, a plaque was presented to Vigon president Steven Somers from the Symrise aroma molecule North American sales and marketing team of Marianne Romans, sales service specialist; Rich Winter, global and regional account director; and Fred Kritzer, vice president, aroma molecules, North America scent and care. "This is a truly a partnership that continues to grow," commented Somers of the collaboration.
