WILD Enters the Middle East

WILD (Heidelberg/Eppelheim, Germany) has opened it first manufacturing facility in the Middle East, located at Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. The facility includes manufacturing and warehousing, as well as office space built on a total area of 20,000 square meters. The plant has a capacity of 75,000 tons and will service the markets of the GCC, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, Levant, North Africa and the Indian sub-continent. The company invested over AED 100 million in constructing the plant, which will enable WILD customers to benefit from local product development and shorter production lead times.

Of the new facility, WILD chairman and owner Hans-Peter Wild said, “With the opening of our plant in Jebel Ali, we are establishing our solid presence in the future market of the Middle East. As the first company of our industry to build here, we are providing local tailor-made product concepts, ingredients and services for our customers and partners in the region.”
