New Company Joins the F&F Industry

Flavor and Fragrance Group (FFG) Industries Inc. has announced the launch of Agilex Flavors & Fragrances Inc., a new flavor and fragrance company formed through the integration of FFG and six of its operating companies. The new company now combines the capabilities of AromaTech (Somerville, NJ); International Fragrance & Technology (Canton, GA); Technology Flavors & Fragrances (Amityville, NY); Key Essentials (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA); FlavorSource (Anaheim, CA); and Western Flavors & Fragrances (Livermore, CA). These companies were brought together to form a new kind of flavor and fragrance company with a focus on both the growing middle-market and select multinationals.
Carlo Colesanti, chairman, CEO and president of FFG, will lead the Agilex team. Colesanti has more than 25 years of experience in both the domestic and international arenas. Richard Green, Jr. has been appointed Agilex’s senior vice president and CFO. Green has more than 25 years of industry experience in the global functional food ingredient and specialty chemical industries. Colesanti and Green are joined on the senior management team by Thomas Damiano (president, Flavor Division); Deepak Shah (senior vice president, Business Development); and Stuart Zlotnik (president, Fragrance Division).
