Headlines have been flooded with news of recent debuts in fragrance technology. One of which occurred in late January, when Sensegen announced a "creative and technical" partnership with Takasago, said to mark a significant leap forward in fragrance creation powered by biotechnology innovation.

With building buzz on biotechnology, Perfumer & Flavorist+ (P&F+) connected with Joshua Britton to pen an opinion piece for this issue, "Biotech’s Radical Transparency Will Safeguard Fragrance," which can be found on page 16.
