Ungerer Ingredients has introduced cinnamon leaf (FEMA# 2292, CAS# 8015-91-6), a fragrant oil extracted from steam distillation of leaves from Cinnamomum zeylanicum blume.

Using a low temperature process, the natural-occurring safrole is removed for a more balanced essential oil that retains sweet, aromatic, spicy notes.

This material has no additional additives, preservatives, carriers, extractives or processing aids. Its recommended uses include fragrances, aromatherapy, home care, personal care, beauty care, flavor, beverage, confection, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, oral care, masking agents and insecticide.
