Givaudan Perfumer Adriana Medina Declared Member of the Academia del Perfume

World Perfumery Congress 2022 speaker and Givaudan vice president perfumer, Adriana Medina was inducted as a member of The Perfume Academy Foundation (Academia del Perfume).

The foundation celebrated the appointment of seven new Academics, five women and two men, who represent “perfume wise men,” and is said to be the first entity of its kind in the world to create the figure of “the Academics of Perfume." The naming ceremony obeys a protocol inspired by those of the Royal Academies, in an environment of great historical and cultural significance.

The Perfume Academy Foundation is said to be a global elite group that brings together big noses and experts, considered the best Spanish-speaking perfumers in the world.

Each member is assigned a symbolic armchair with an olfactory note with which the Academic feels a special affinity or connection.
