Firmenich master perfumer Olivier Cresp has been inducted into the Academia Del Perfume Foundation of Spain.

Cresp is the 16^th fragrance industry professional to receive the honor. Known for fragrances including Angel by Thierry Mugler and Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, Cresp received the organization’s Prestige Fragrance of the Year award in 2017 for Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris.

Joining Firmenich in 1992 Cresp was awarded the title master perfumer in 2006. His industry recognition includes The Fragrance Foundation’s Lifetime Achievement Award (2018) and Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres from the French Minister of Culture in 2012.

The Academia Del Perfume is a Spanish organization of fragrance industry professionals. Each year it honors three leading cultural figures—including one perfumer—and organizes industry events, including the Fragrance Awards.
