Robertet Makes Key Hires, Strategic Executive Moves

Robertet has recently made some key hires and strategic executive moves with the goal of growing its fine fragrance business in the U.S.

Robertet Fragrances has named Jordi Castells as vice president - senior perfumer reporting to Christophe Maubert, global president Robertet fragrance division. He will be based with Robertet’s creative team in Oakland, New Jersey. Castells, a Barcelona native, brings a global perspective with more than 30 years of extensive experience in fabric, personal and home care perfumery. 

Robertet also has made some strategic moves with its New York City Creative Studio fine fragrance team. 

Mathieu Nardin, an experienced fine fragrance and personal care perfumer, will now join the New York City team from the company’s Grasse, France offices. Industry veteran Piero Savio has joined the New York City team from Givaudan as vice president fine fragrance sales; he will focus on Robertet’s existing fine fragrance and specialty retail sales as well as new business development. Lauren Simpsonwho has worked successfully in evaluation on both the brand and fragrance house sides of the business, has been promoted to the NYC Creative Studio as director of fine fragrance evaluation.
