MG International Fragrance Company has announced its CEO, Aslan Gülçiçek, has been appointed to the IFEAT (International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades) Executive Committee.
Gülçiçek joined the family business after graduating from college, improving the company’s operational infrastructure and modernizing its sales and marketing workforce strategy. He also took an active role in the creation of fragrances, accumulating extensive experience in perfumery.
Today, the company employees more than 300 people, and has moved to a state-of-the-art facility in Gebze, Turkey, just outside of Istanbul.

Said Gülçiçek: “It is an honor to be an executive committee member of the IFEAT society. As a second-generation leader raised in a family who have devoted themselves to fragrance manufacturing since 1961, I have witnessed many IFEAT conferences and happenings since my childhood. First of all, I am thankful to my father, our honorary chairman Michel Gülçiçek for his dedication to our family business and to our industry.
I remember the International Congress of IFEAT Hong Kong which was held in 1999 when I first joined my family business. It was a privilege for us to be a part of your organizations on those unforgettable days. Following all these years we were always closely involved with IFEAT. This year we have celebrated our board member and also my cousin Mr. Erol Meshulam’s 50th anniversary of a career in creating fragrances. On his career path, we are thankful to IFEAT committee for presenting Mr. Meshulam the prestigious IFEAT Founder’s Award of 2018 in Cartagena. This precious moment was a great surprise for him and made all of our team so happy.
Being a member of such a great family and as a second-generation leader of MG International Fragrance company, I will continue to show my utmost efforts to create value with innovations and contribute myself to the sustainable growth of our industry.’’
