Guerlain’s in-house perfumer, Thierry Wasser, was awarded the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur medal, the highest decoration in France, this week in an intimate ceremony held in Paris, according to a Style.com report.
The report said Marc-Antoine Jamet, secretary general of the LVMH Group, bestowed the honor.
Prior to his work as an in-house perfumer for Guerlain, Wasser has worked for Firmenich and Givaudan.
