FONA International (Geneva, IL) has hired Ray Hartman as senior flavorist for the sweet and confections business unit. Hartman has 13 years of experience as a flavor chemist. Rebecca Wagner has joined FONA as senior scientist with the sweet and confections business unit. Wagner has more than 10 years of experience in the confection industry. Joanne Kennedy has been hired as senior account executive for the FONA sales team. Kennedy has more than 20 years of experience in the food processing industry, and in her new role will be responsible for several key accounts in the northeast United States.
In addition, FONA has promoted Denise Re to flavorist on the flavor development team. Re recently passes her final exam with the Society of Flavor Chemists, earning her the title of certified flavor chemist. Re joined FONA as a junior flavorist in July 2006.
