The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials Inc. (RIFM) (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) has named Daniel Salvito director, environmental sciences. Salvito — a member of the American Chemical Society, Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science — has been with the organization since 1999.

RIFM has appointed Anne Marie Api vice president, human health sciences. Api — a member of a number of organizations, including the American Chemical Society and Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce — has been with the organization since 1984.
