Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) has appointed professor Xuemin Wang to its Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). The Chinese dermatologist will be advising Symrise on the development of cosmetic agents for the Chinese market as well as conducting tests on cosmetic agents in Shanghai. Wang is vice president of the Shanghai Skin Diseases & STD Hospital and head its skin and cosmetic research department.
Of the appointment, Symrise vice president of innovation, research and development, life essentials, scent and care Gabriele Vielhaber said, “We are delighted to welcome professor Wang as a new member of our Scientific Advisory Board. China is a tremendous growth market for us.
