Organization Honors Comax VP's 25 Years of Volunteer Service

The SCO Family of Services recently honored Comax Flavors VP of corporate communications, Catherine Armstrong for her 25 years of service to the social services organization.

SCO, a group that offers support services to New Yorkers in need ranging from the homeless to at-risk families, recently honored Armstrong at its 23rd Annual Spring Fashion Show at the Nassau Country Club in New York.

Armstrong started volunteering for SCO as a teenager, when she helped organize a toy drive for the group through her church. Immediately, she knew that she wanted to continue her involvement with the organization.

“I enjoy being a part of SCO and sharing in their many exciting fundraising events, but nothing compares to seeing the accomplishments of the children and families that they are helping,” said Armstrong. “The hard work and devotion of the SCO team has truly been an inspiration to me.”

In addition to her charity work, Armstrong has over 20 years of experience at Comax Flavors.
