Renewable products company Amyris, Inc. has announced that Steven R. Mills will replace Jeryl L. Hilleman as chief financial officer effective May 2. Hilleman announced in August 2011 that she would step down this year.
Mills began his career at AMD in 1979. He held various positions and was CFO from 2008–2010. After that, he was senior executive vice president of performance and growth. "I'm looking forward to joining Amyris's extraordinary team at a time when the company is bringing its technology to full-scale production and commercialization," Mills said.
