RIFM Makes New Appointments

The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) has announced new appointments within the organization, in addition to adding Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (owner of the Arm & Hammer brand and a leading producer of sodium biocarbonate) as a RIFM supporting member.

Daniel C. Liebler, an Ingram professor of cancer research and a Vanderbilt University School of Medicine professor of biochemistry, pharmacology and biomedical informatics, joined the RIMF expert panel, and Kohei Shiota, executive vice president with Kyoto University, will add his expertise to the expert panel’s review of RIFM’s research on fragrance materials, as well as join the reproduction adjunct group.

Additionally, Gretchen Ritacco has become a technical writing coordinator for RIFM’s human health science division; Cindia Sivanantha will support the director of the technical information and services division as a data project specialist; Dino Pfund joins as a database developer/programmer, working with the RIFM website; and Iain Davies joins as an environmental scientist.
