Steve Herman, a contributor to Perfumer & Flavorist magazine, as well as its sister publication GCI magazine, has been named the chair-elect for the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC). The New York chapter of the Society for Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) is dedicated to advancing cosmetic science by promoting research and information.
Herman, a fellow in the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, is president of Diffusion LLC, a consulting company specializing in regulatory issues, intellectual property, and technology development and transfer for the beauty industry. He also is a principal in PJS Partners, a business that offers formulation, marketing and technology solutions for the beauty and fragrance industries, and is an adjunct professor in the Fairleigh Dickinson University Masters in the Cosmetic Science program.
