Ascent Aromatics has added two new employees to its roster. George Fernandez, who has been hired as sales and business development manager, brings 25 years of domestic and international experience in the fragrance industry, in sales, marketing and management. Fernandez most recently served as senior vice president, director of fine fragrance at Takasago. During his career at there and with his previous employer, IFF, he worked with a range of multinational companies in various capacities.
Tom Laridaen has also joined the company as its Midwest sales manager. Having worked on both the technical and sales sides of the F&F industry for more than 25 years, Laridaen has held positions with Chemia, Givaudan and Symrise.
