Iberchem (Murcia, Spain), which is now celebrating its 25th anniversary, has officially launched its Scentium flavors brand worldwide.
“Scentium comes along at just the right moment for all of us who work for Iberchem Aromas. Our customers acclaim the worldwide launch of this brand which will help to increase their share of the market," said José Manuel Mateos, the company's general manager who is about to celebrate his first 25 years with the company (he joined in 1988).
Last October, Iberchem had chosen the name of the group's line of 7,000 flavors for foodstuffs but the company waited until its anniversary to launch the new brand name worldwide.
The Iberchem Group, which has facilities in Alhama de Murcia and Milan, said it has been growing at a rate of 15% annually since the very first day it entered the marketplace and flavor sales reached €10 million last year.
“Our flavorists are at the heart of our company, continually developing new flavors faithful to the traditions and tastes of each country. As our slogan says: we are creating the flavors of the world,” Mateos added.
